TEAM LEADER - MORTGAGE ORIGINATIONS
The position will be responsible for building a team of Loan Officers,
managing the entire gamut of mortgage originations, set, allocate and drive
revenue targets of the loan officers, ensure compliance and confirmation to
the organization policies and provide a self motivated and energetic
environment for success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide RLO’s direction for training on technology systems, profolio policy
and procedures, compliance matters, loan programs and lender criteria.
Stay abreast of pipeline activity to assure all loans are moving to close
Assure commission calculations are submitted to the U.S. Sales Manager on
schedule.
Address elevated borrower concerns
Originate loans for personal production
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years of proven retail mortgage origination background.
Experience in sales management role is essential.
Strong people management skills. Ability to set targets and standards for
self and team and be self motivated to meet them. Focused, strong sales
drive, workforce planning and management capability with problem solving skills
Strong work ethics and high integrity. Ability to lead, motivate and coach a
team of loan officers should be a team player.
Strong selling, presentation, and organizational skills are required, as is
numeric aptitude and proficient PC skills. Ability to set and achieve
productivity goals for self and the team
Possess a Loan Officer license if required by your state
Knowledge of key lending concepts such as debt/income ratios, loan to value
percentage, credit scoring, and other underwriting criteria necessary to
counsel on mortgage programs and prices
LOCATION
This position will be based in Baltimore, MD and surrounding area
