Entry Level Financial & Project Support Analyst EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related fieldMBA a plus but not requiredDemonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office productsExpert proficiency in Excel highly preferred1-2 years of in Financial Analysis experience preferredSKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be team oriented and able to collaborate on project with both teammate and client working groupsAbility to assemble, communicate and present information clearlyExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsMust exhibit strong analytical/critical thinking skillsSolve problems using a detailed and well-ordered approachWork without direct supervision and independently with broad guidelines-- - Must be attentive to detail, maintain standards and actively check for data accuracy before conveying final work product-- - Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlinesRESPONSIBILITIES: Conducts financial analysis for client's national housing portfolio, including the creation of detailed pro-forma and financial modelsAssist with ongoing analysis of operations and performance of the existing housing portfolio, including performance vs. pro-formaConstruct, manipulate, and continuously modify Excel-based models to calculate returns including IRR, NPV, and cash returnsSupport the transaction process in order to complete due diligence on targeted transactions, from acquisition to disposition-- - Prepare and review a variety of analysis regarding existing portfolio of properties, including but not limited to budgets, operating statements, appraisals, market surveys and studies-- - Create public-private venture strategies-- - Conduct analyses to address complex financial issues and determine financial deal viability-- - Assist with planning and policy issuesWillingness to learn, demonstrate, and apply better methods of analyzing real estate transactions-- - Provides support consistent with all aspects of determining project feasibility.-- - Assist with the design, implementation expansion and continuous improvement of portfolio management-- - Assist in preparing briefings, participate in meetings and provide technology support for databases, web solutions and benchmarking future decision making-- - Will sometimes be required to interact with clients so must have good verbal communication skills and professional demeanerJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingPaid time offPhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:Staff for this position may be required to periodically perform tasks at the Corporate Office but most work is currently remote.Ability to commute/relocate:Annapolis, MD 21401: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor's (Required)Experience:Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
