JOB SUMMARY:The Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team with responsibilities including financial modeling, annual budgeting, department financial analysis and other required finance-related duties and reporting for a growing non-profit entity. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Integrity

  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

  • Demonstrated understanding of financial modeling and analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills - ability to present complex issues across all verticals of the organization.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
  • Financial Skills (Forecasting, Corporate Finance, Financial Diagnosis, Financial Software, Analyzing Information, Planning and Strategy development)
  • Ability to generate requested reporting in a timely and accurate manner as well as in a manner that is understandable by all end-users. Willingness to work hours necessary to meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to relate the financial results to underlying operational activities
  • Highly organized and the ability to work on various projects simultaneously
  • An understanding of accounting principles is preferred

    Workplace Computers and Equipment
  • Development, use, and/or maintenance of business intelligence systems to mine business data and produce value added analysis and forecasts for business decisions
  • Experience with budget software system that automates budget development and reporting preferred.
    Analytical and Critical Thinking
  • Possess and/or develop a knowledge base of business and healthcare operations in order to understand the potential financial impact of proposed changes to operations
  • Assist with the preparation of Annual Operating and Strategic Plan including the gathering of information from every department, meeting with departmental leaders to discuss changes and input of information into the budget system to produce financial reports
  • Business results tracking, analysis and reporting including metrics and benchmarks, variances to plan, trends, and potential risks and opportunities
  • Compilation of data from disparate sources to produce analysis and to support decision making

  • Required: 4-year degree Desired: 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Required: 2 to 4 years of previous financial/accounting experience. A similar combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Demonstrated communication, customer service and analytical skills.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated exposure to financial planning & analysis across an organization WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Work is typically performed in an office environment.
  • Hybrid structure of in-office and remote work available
