for payroll processing controllership to consistently deliver
accurate and timely employee payments with a global mindset.
Ensures high data integrity using targeted audits and takes
appropriate action to resolve issue/risk. Proactively identifies
process and data risk. Provides timely support to internal and
external key stakeholder requests. Participates in projects to
deliver process improvements. Demonstrates broad industry and
payroll knowledge, systems expertise and experience. Works with
moderate guidance in own area of knowledge and contributes
expertise to improve processes and strengthen controls. Job
Description Core Responsibilities Assist with end-to-end U.S. and
global payroll processing for over 60,000 employees globally
through auditing and collaboration with payroll vendors, including
payroll submittal. Conduct audits and identify risks to prevent
issues with accuracy, timeliness and production. Resolve escalated
payroll cases utilizing research and knowledge. Develop and
maintain deep subject-matter expertise in Workday, UKG and ADP
payroll and timekeeping systems. Demonstrates essential business
skills, including critical thinking, analytical ability,
self?management, organization, attention to detail, and independent
task execution. Exercises independent judgment on important issues
and handles confidential information with discretion. Takes
ownership of assigned tasks and resolves issues independently
whenever possible. Escalates critical problems promptly, providing
clear documentation and recommended solutions. Communicates
proactively with leadership and peers, ensuring responses within
two business days and status updates aligned to SLA expectations.
Proactively identifies process improvements and shares
recommendations with the payroll team. Support testing and
validation for system enhancements, vendor updates, and understand
payroll configurations. Serve as a Payroll and Workday SME.
Facilitate and support global payroll process performance and
controllership. Identify and implement process improvements.
Develop and communicate payroll process metrics. Lead/facilitate
trend and issue analysis to identify and prioritize process
improvement projects. Conducts reporting analysis and risk
identification/mitigation. Consistent exercise of independent
judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular,
consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and
weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other
duties and responsibilities as assigned. Preferred Qualifications
Strong Excel skills, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data
filtering—along with proficiency in Word, SharePoint, and OneNote.
2–4 years payroll experience in a large, complex, multi-state,
multi-country environment. Working knowledge of Federal, state, and
local payroll regulations. Experience with payroll issue
resolution, root?cause analysis, and preventive controls. Ability
to analyze data, identify trends, and propose corrective actions.
Able to thrive in a fast?paced environment with shifting
priorities. Requires consistent, on?site presence in the
Philadelphia office and the ability to work variable schedules when
