Summary Sky Solutions is seeking a Pega Administrator who will be an exceptional addition to our growing team. As a Pega Administrator, you will be responsible for general administration for one or more Pega platform modules such as Infinity, Robotic Process Automation, Customer Relationship Management, Customer Service, Workforce Intelligence, Customer Decision Hub, etc. In this role, the administrator will work with client personnel to develop and implement processes and procedures for interacting with the full range of Pega user groups such as developers, testers, business process designers, user interface designers, analysts, DevOps and so on. Pega Administrator III Baltimore, MD Long term contract Education Requirements Bachelorrsquos or Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other STEM fields Certifications Requirement CSSA Responsibilities Provide daily support, administration, and maintenance of the Pega platform Lead Pega system upgrade planning execution between major and minor release Manage configuration changes ensure consistency across environments (sandbox, development, testing, validation, staging, production) Establish maintain Pega configuration standards best practices Schedule verify instance clones Support update set creation and migration Manage instance security, access, and ACLs Perform error identification remediation across all instances, including working with end-users to resolve issues Implement and integrate modules Create and maintain documentation for applications modules to be published for various client audiences (developers, testers, business analysts, product managers, etc.) Coordinate integrations with other applications Maintain expert knowledge on the Pega platform Provide mentorship and knowledge building of team members Define and configure general platform and application-specific permissions for groups, roles and users. Install and manage various platform software components ensuring compatibility with the clientrsquos technology infrastructure and software lifecycle environments (development, testing, validation, sandbox, staging, production, etc.) Administer and configure Pega module settings to meet the clientrsquos implementation and functional requirements Configure the ServiceNow platform to enable development teams to integrate with other client enterprise applications Provide second and third level support to various Pega user groups to be defined in future operating procedures Provide recommendations and feedback on Pega configurations, settings, etc. Monitor platform and application performance to identify bottlenecks, database responsiveness Assist in resolving technical issues Facilitate and support rollout of new applications built by productproject teams as well as enhancements offered by Pega Establishes the Organizational Assets Exports and Imports Rules and Cases Performs Application Deployment and application migration Describes and manages security authentication and authorization Describes and configures Pega 7 Logging Carries out performance analysis and tuning Uses the system management application (SMA) Identify the components that comprise the architecture of Pega 7 and be able to install the product as an EJB into an application server Migrate rules from one environment to another following best practices Authenticate using LDAP and implement Single-Sign-On (SSO) Customize the Pega 7 security model to suit client's needs Identify how Pega 7 uses a database and be able to optimize the use of the database Use logging and performance tools to analyze the performance of your solutions Use OOTB tools to tune the environment in which Pega 7 solutions run using a holistic approach Required Experience 6-8 years of overall IT experience 4+ years of Pega administration experience as candidatersquos primary job function 2-4 years of JavaScript experience including usage of jQuery, Bootstrap and Angular JS frameworks Relational database experience (Oracle, DB2, Postgres, etc.) in an enterprise environment At least 3-4 years of combined experience across Pega workflow editing, report generation, performance analytics, update sets, data object management, etc. 4-5 years of experience in SQL, HTML, CSS, webservices APIs (SOAP or REST), PowerShell, JSON and XML Preferred Experience Active directory, Single Sign-On, SAML experience Strong written and oral communication skills AgileScrum development methodology Prior work in the federal government Current or recent Public Trust Clearance Training Obtain one or more of any of the following Pega badges o Pega Platform Ready o Pega Delivery Ready Eligibility Those authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship are encouraged to apply.s.
