Long Home Products is hiring a Director of Field Marketing & Home Show Events to build out our field marketing division. Home improvement and/or field experience is strongly desired! We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and management skills to make an immediate impact on growing our team. We have a training program that brings salespeople into the company with little-to-no home remodeling experience and quickly prepares them to sell residential roofing, baths, showers and windows in-the-home. We are looking to create a parallel program for our field efforts. This role will be responsible for overseeing the entire Canvass and Events program along the East Coast. This is a management-level role that will report directly to the Director of Marketing. Responsibilities: - Manage 1 current team across our New England service area (ME, RI, MA, CT, NH) - Establish 3 teams across other our service areas: DMV (DC, MD and VA), PA and FL - Interview and hire Local Field Managers (i.e. door-to-door and event managers) - Build out field training program and curriculum - Support in interviewing and hiring Local Field Reps (i.e. door-to-door and event reps) - Train new managers and reps both in-office and in the field - Coordinate daily logistics, including permitting and field locations - Support in locating events - Manage events budget - Track the team's key performance indicators - Some administrative duties (experience with Salesforce or other CRMs highly preferred) Requirements: - Driver's license required - Bachelor's degree preferred - 1-2 years of canvassing, events and/or other cold-calling experience strongly preferred - 3-5 years of management or other team leadership experience strongly preferred - Must be comfortable with travel to other offices (up to 25% travel) - Strong interpersonal skills - Strong training skills - Strong management skills - An ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously - Exceptional time management skills
