Job Description:
Duties: Will manage and maintain complex corporate Global
Network Infrastructure to ensure continuous delivery of radio
broadcasting worldwide. Will proactively monitor and maintain core production
network and security devices. Will manage and troubleshoot NPR
Datacenters located around the world. Deploying and configuring network
security tools required in compliance with NPR security policies, will
monitor, identify, and block malicious network traffic from entering the
NPR network and maintain a high level of network security. Will
upgrade the operating system code on core production network and security
devices to keep up with current technology. Will analyze and optimize the
Internet TCP/IP packet using various packet capture tools, including
wireshark, Net flow Collector and SolarWinds Orion. Will automate
configuration processes and tasks using Python and Perl code for large data
center deployments. Will work with Advance Routing and Switching
protocols including: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IPSec VPN, MPLS, STP, RSTP, PVST+,
HSRP, Cisco Nexus vPC, Nexus vDC, and Fabric path on Nexus 7K, 5K
platforms and secure the NPR Global Network using ASA Firepower, Cisco
Identity Service Engine and other security tools. Will engage with ISP
providers to upgrade bandwidth and resolve latency related complex issues
within the Internet backbone. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent foreign education) or a
related field plus five (5) years’ progressive experience
configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting network/managed system
services infrastructure, which must include: configuring and maintaining
Cisco routers, Juniper routers, Net Screen, Adtran, Tripp Lite UPS
devices, Cisco Switches, Cisco Nexus 7K,5K, 2K and Juniper EX Series
Switches, Palo Alto Security devices, Arista data center switches and
wireless LAN Controllers; configuring and troubleshooting Static Routes,
EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Path manipulation Redistribution, Route Maps, Prefix-list,
VRRP, HSRP, IPV6 Static Routes, RIPng, OSPFV3 and MPLS. Automate
network configuration for wide deployment of network devices using using
Perl /Python scripting; Designing and Deploying and Maintaining
high availability Corporate and Datacenter network infrastructure for
24/7 Network uptime; and installing, configuring and administering HP
Network Automation Application (HPNA/HP Open view), Solar winds Orion,
Q-radar, Identity Service Engine(ISE), Cisco Prime, Cisco Mobility
Service Engine and other applications. Or, alternatively, a Master's degree in
one of the above-mentioned fields plus three (3) years of experience
