Job Description Job Description The Collision Repair Technician
is responsible for performing high-quality repairs to damaged
vehicle bodies and frames, restoring them to manufacturer
specification and pre-accident condition using a variety of tools,
techniques, and equipment. This role requires proficiency in all
phases of collision repair, including structural and non-structural
work, panel replacement, frame straightening, welding, and
preparation for refinishing. The ideal candidate will have a solid
background in collision repair, a strong commitment to safety, and
the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You
will work closely with estimators, painters, and other team members
to deliver timely repairs that align with both company and industry
standards and ensure customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Inspect, assess, and repair vehicle body and frame damage in
accordance with estimates, manufacturer guidelines, and OEM
specifications. Perform all structural and non-structural repairs,
including dent removal, panel replacement, welding, frame
straightening, and reassembly of parts as required. Utilize
measuring systems, frame machines, and other tools to ensure proper
realignment and structural integrity. Collaborate with estimators
and team members to review repair plans, verify parts accuracy, and
communicate any additional repairs or delays. Maintain tools,
equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and functional condition.
Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE),
including respirators, following safety guidelines and manufacturer
instructions. Comply with all safety, environmental, and hazardous
materials regulations, including proper handling of paint,
thinners, and waste disposal. Stay current with industry standards,
repair techniques, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA,
local laws). Perform quality control inspections to ensure all
repairs meet company, OEM, and customer expectations. Support a
team-oriented environment by assisting other technicians and shop
personnel as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by
management. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an

High school diploma or equivalent; technical trade school training
preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in autobody repair or
collision repair Proficiency with collision repair tools and
equipment Language Skills Ability to read repair estimates and work
orders Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety
rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure
manuals. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations I-CAR and/or OEM
Certifications are desirable but not required. Annual training
required. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Physical Demands Ability to do consistent physical activity such as
reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending,
squatting and standing for long periods, and the ability to lift
over 50 lbs. Work involves exposure to typical shop environments
including noise, dust, and vehicle fumes. WORK ENVIRONMENT Our
