Maintenance Technician – Painter *Salary Range: $19.00 - 22.00
an hour ( based on years of experience) *All applicants are

STATUS: Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Plant Ops Director; Plant Ops Coord
and/or Lead Maint Tech GENERAL SUMMARY : The Maintenance Tech -
Painter is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the physical
facility and grounds. Under supervisor direction, conducts
painting, preventive maintenance, light plumbing, electrical and
HVAC repairs, and all other duties as assigned. In addition, the
Maintenance Tech - Painter will work special projects related to
the facility, focus on renovation of apartments; Health Center and
Assisted Living repairs as well as in the common areas of the
community. dures. Primary Job Duties : -Performs general
maintenance duties, such as fixing wall covers, floor covers and
some furniture and fixtures, light plumbing work, minor electrical
repair and appliance repairs. -Performs painting and refurbishing
projects as directed by supervisor. -Performs routine preventive
maintenance as directed by supervisor. -Performs minor building and
equipment repairs. -Assists with snow removal efforts. -Performs
clean-up of parking lots and building grounds. -Maintains all
tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition. -Other special
projects, duties assigned as needed by member of leadership Vantage

QUALIFICATIONS : -High school education preferred. Ability to
understand and follow instructions in English, communicate
effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. -Must possess a valid
Commercial Drivers license (CDLP) in the State. Must have a good
driving record. -Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly and
helpful attitude with the residents at all times. -Must be able to
interpret and follow map directions. -Wears appropriate non-slip
footwear. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS : Must be able
to sit in a vehicle for up to 6 hours per day; must be able to
stoop, bend, stretch and squat to load and unload cargo areas.
Schedule routine preventive maintenance on vehicles according to
schedule. Keep vehicles clean. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
for handling luggage and resident groceries. May be exposed to the
elements (rain, snow, cold, heat) for short periods of time. Must
have good driving skills in handling vehicles on wet and/or
