Job Description:
H&K Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Project
Manager/Estimator to join our team, leveraging over 50 years of
industry expertise in delivering top-notch construction materials
and services. In this role, you will oversee project planning,
scheduling, budgeting, and execution, while ensuring compliance
with engineering designs, and quality standards. Your dual role
will also require you to prepare precise cost estimates for
projects, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing to aid in
winning bids and the successful fiscal management of the companys
projects. Manage and evaluate project budgets, and develop
cost-effective plans with consideration to time constraints and
company resources. Coordinate with site managers, crew, and
construction managers to align project objectives with business
goals. Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
to prepare detailed, accurate estimates. Meet with potential
clients to discuss strategies, concerns, and to form strong
relationships. Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors for
cost-effective deals. Prepare, submit, and manage detailed
proposals and bids, following through to project completion.
Monitor ongoing projects to ensure they stay on track, meet
deadlines, remain under budget, and adhere to predetermined
specifications. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and estimating
software such as Bluebeam Revu or ProEst. Excellent communication,
negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of
construction processes, materials, and project management
principles. Ability to analyze financial records and apply data to
improve cost-effectiveness. Ability to manage multiple tasks and
projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Medical

Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred. PMP (Project
Management Professional) certification is a plus.
