Your mission: Work with a dynamic team and key stakeholders to generate and execute challenging solutions to mission problems

We are seeking a system engineer who is solutions oriented and works collaboratively with mission partners to drive and deliver high quality and impactful web applications. The position requires a self-starter with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The right person will work closely with the technical team to gather requirements for feature development on an established full stack web application. The candidate should have systems engineering fundamentals, have worked within and help drive agile sprints, conducted backlog grooming, and enjoys close collaboration with the software developers and technical customers.

You will excel in this role if you:

Are a Results-oriented engineer who can leverage your technical skills and techniques to successfully drive software solutions
Self-motivated with a desire to build relationships with customers, end users, back end service providers and data providers
Have managed and executed within an Agile framework an.
Enjoy hands-on work with the customer in both the problem and solution spaces. A day in the life:
- Working with the technical lead to interpret, define, and organize software requirements, agile stories, and product backlogs.
- Collaborating with Test Engineers to define new sprint stories and reach out to end point developers for identified issues or concerns.
- Working with Software engineers to define or interpret design decisions for user interface requirements and workflows What we are expecting from you:
  - 7+ years of Systems Engineering experience
  - Experience managing and organizing agile sprints and product backlogs
  - Experience eliciting requirements and working directly with customers for bug and feature development
  - Experience working with and defining UX/UI designs for front end web applications
  - Excellent oral and written communication skills
  - Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree Nice to Have:
    
    Experience with full stack web applications
    
    Understanding of product management across multiple deployment environments
    
    Experience with one or more Intelligence Community (IC) missions
    
    Experience with Geo focused applications development, integration, and/or support
    
    Understanding of data modeling, parsing, transformation
