Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the
Washington DC area, supporting K-12 students within public schools.
The assignment runs from January 5, 2026, through May 29, 2026,
with a typical workweek of 37.5 hours Monday through Friday.
Part-time candidates may be considered if available for at least 20
hours per week. Location: Washington DC area (approximately 45
minutes south of Washington DC) with assignments typically covering
up to two schools. Key Responsibilities: - Provide speech-language
pathology services to elementary and middle school students. -
Manage a caseload of no more than 55 students, usually around 50. -
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and
therapeutic interventions. - Collaborate with teachers, parents,
and other professionals to support student progress. - Maintain
accurate documentation and comply with relevant regulations and
guidelines. Qualifications: - Must hold active Virginia SLP
licensure. - Candidates with the Certificate of Clinical Competence
(CCCs) preferred; new graduates (CFs) can be considered with
provided supervision. - Experience is valued but not required;
willingness to work with varied assignments and locations. - No
Department of Education (DOE) license required. - Speech-Language
Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates are also encouraged to submit
resumes for consideration. Additional Details: - Caseload
assignments vary but will not exceed two schools per SLP. - Schools
assignments will be determined based on candidate fit and discussed
during the interview process. - Contract length corresponds with
