Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
within a school setting located in Philadelphia, PA. This role
offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language
support to students, contributing to their academic and social
success. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and
language evaluations to assess students communication abilities.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each
student's needs. Collaborate with educators, families, and other
professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate
documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and
legal requirements. Participate in team meetings and contribute to
the development of supportive educational environments.
Qualifications and Experience: Valid certification and licensure as
a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with school-age
children in an educational setting preferred. Strong knowledge of
speech and language disorders, therapy techniques, and assessment
tools. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with
students, parents, and staff. Ability to manage caseloads and
maintain detailed records. Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
