Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior
Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A Behavior Specialist with
BCBA certification is needed for a contract position supporting
students with emotional disabilities in a school setting located in
Frederick, MD. This opportunity involves working within a high
school Pyramid program designed to meet the unique behavioral needs
of these students. The role requires collaboration with educators
and participation in planning meetings to develop and implement
effective behavioral interventions. Location: Frederick, Maryland
Setting: Public High School Behavior Support Program Contract
Duration: Immediate start through June 16, 2026 Schedule: Monday
through Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM; additional meetings Tuesdays
and every other Thursday until 3:45 PM Key Responsibilities: -
Implement and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
for students with emotional disabilities - Collaborate with
teachers, staff, and families to support student behavioral and
academic outcomes - Participate in weekly and bi-weekly planning
meetings to coordinate services and strategies - Utilize
data-driven approaches to assess student progress and adjust
interventions accordingly - Provide training and consultation to
school staff on behavioral management techniques and best practices
Qualifications: - Valid Maryland BCBA license - Experience working
with students with emotional disabilities in a school setting
preferred - Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
principles and behavioral intervention strategies - Ability to
communicate effectively with students, educators, and families -
Commitment to fostering a supportive and positive learning

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.78 to $57.78.
