Sound interesting?-- We---re always looking for the best and brightest to join our ranks and share the fun.What You---ll Get to Do:Under limited direction perform research, design and software development in various aspects of cyber, analytics, machine learning, optimization and computer networking for classified and unclassified projects.More About the Role:Collaborate with customers to determine their most difficult cyber, analytics, machine learning, optimization and computer networking problems; coordinate project requirements definitions according to customer needsContribute to and lead high performance technical teams to innovate and execute both short-term and long-term project goalsResearch solutions to challenging cyber, analytics, machine learning, optimization and computer networking problemsDesign, implement and test research prototype softwareIntegrate software into larger system, design test cases and evaluate solution effectivenessSupport leadership team with business development activitiesMentor engineering internsPartner with Pan-LGS to create additional multi-disciplinary solutionsBrief project results and demo software and/or hardware to technical and non-technical audiencesIdentify, create, and propose new research projectsAdditional Duties and Responsibilities:Travel to other LGS Locations or Customer Sites as necessaryUnderstand and adhere to all LGS Ethical and Compliance policiesProactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to LGS EH&S policies and proceduresPerform other duties as requiredConsistent and reliable attendance requiredIf required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the positionWork is typically performed in an office environment which requires proper safety precautions.
