Senior Technical WriterInnosoft is a mature SDB with proven qualifications in Health IT services and solutions since 2001. Our core portfolio of Health IT digital service competencies includes 120+ staff that support enterprise systems development and program management across U.S. Federal, State, and Commercial clients. Innosoft has developed a deep competency in Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace programs through implementation of several key Federal and State based Health Insurance Exchange systems (ACA/Obamacare). We offer small business competitiveness and agility with large business experience, capabilities, and solutions.Principal Duties / Responsibilities* Write and edit plain language content for Government client's application development teams.* Establishing document repository organization, including access permissions, and uploading and organizing artifacts.* Participating in client meetings and identifying required potential changes to documentation, taking minutes of the meeting and updating* Researches and compiles technical data for use in various operation and maintenance manuals, training materials, installation guides, and other technical documentation.* Research and gather technical and background information for inclusion in project documentation and deliverables.* Utilize software development and collaboration tools (Confluence tool, SharePoint, Redhat tools).QUALIFICATIONSRequired Education and Experience* Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience.* 5+ years of related experience preparing technical documentation* Experience using SharePoint and Developer* Experience with 508 Remediation-- Strong editing experience?Skills and Abilities* Must have effective written communications skills including formatting and grammar.* Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices involved in technical research and writing.* Knowledge of and ability to use various word-processing and/or desktop publishing software applications.* Knowledge of healthcare industry standards.* Familiarity with agile approaches such as scrum and SAFe are highly desired.
