Summary: The Refrigeration Mechanic will perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs of air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, wastewater plant systems, and exhaust systems. Job Duties & Responsibilities:Promote a safe working environment and follow company guidelines for safety at all timesMaintain shift and equipment logs in a clear and concise mannerOperate, repair, test, and maintain all Wastewater systems, exhaust systems, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment using necessary hand tools and testing equipmentAlign motors, pumps, shafts, couplingsElectrical repairs and inspection on pumps, compressors, fans, and controlsConnect piping using threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, or cemented jointsSecures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangersMaintains clean work area Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401(k) matching Life insurancePTO/Sick days 7 am to 330pm Monday - FridayThe ideal candidate must have the availability for call-ins as well as on-call. Starting Salary Range: $25.00 PM21

Requirements:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and write English. Must be able to display basic arithmetic skills.TRAINING, SKILLS, LICENSES: Minimum of 3 yrs commercial refrigeration experience. Universal recovery license (current or obtain in 6 months). Apprentice HVAC card (current or obtain in 6 months). 1 year of experience working in a warehouse.WORKING CONDITIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is frequently exposed to wet, loud, cold, and/or hot, humid conditions. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, rotate or twist, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
