Position Summary The Senior Lead Electronic Technician/Installer will manage all installers and will ensure that all installs are completed to specification. The position is responsible for review of radios and maintaining baseline (in coordination with TR engineers) of all TR installation technical drawings. Serves as an expert providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to : * Responsible for independently designing, modifying, and constructing electronic and electro-mechanical instrumentation used in performance measurements on test and evaluation projects. * responsible for troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of C4ISR equipment as appropriate for the task. * Performs fielding, installation, operations, test, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, over the shoulder training, exercise and test support and maintenance. * Provides expert technical direction and guidance to subordinate technicians. * Plans and performs installation, test, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for communications equipment, electronics equipment. Requirements Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Skills The required skills and knowledge include hands-on or educational experience in two of the following core technical areas: electronics, network support (hardware/software), computers (hardware or software), tactical radios, satellite networks, data encryption, web-based apps, encryption devices, COMSEC, or Platforms. The minimum years of related experience required: A minimum of ten (10) years progressive experience in planning and overseeing C4ISR systems on US Army vehicles. Two (2) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education. Education The minimum level of education required is: Associates Degree or 2 years technical school Desired Requirements The desired skills, knowledge, and education include experience with the following tactical radios communications equipment: AN/VRC-119, AN/VRC-121, AN/VRC-116, AN/VRC-117, AN/VRC-124, AN/VRC-125, AN/VRC-126, AN/VRC-127, AN/VRC-132, and AN/VRC-135. Other Qualifications U.S. citizenship is required. DoD secret clearance is required.
