This position will start out in Baltimore, MD for approximately 1-2 years of training and the position will then be located in Waynesboro, VA. - - The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Test Engineering Team. What You'll Get to Do: -
  • Antenna test equipment design in support of factory phased array testing
  • Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility -
  • Test software and test equipment design related to phased array testing
  • Software development for automating test processes and data analysis -
  • Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems
  • Support technicians with troubleshooting and training
  • Analyze test data and identify early trends
  • Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements
  • Maintain sensitivity to cost, schedule and quality as well as Northrop Grumman policies and proceduresThe selected candidate will work in Baltimore, MD for approximately 1-2 years of training and then relocate to Waynesboro, VA. - - Basic Qualifications: - A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline plus 1 year of relevant experience.
    • Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
    • Professional software development experience using languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.
    • Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)Preferred Qualifications: -
      • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
      • Software development experience with RF and antenna systems
      • Test development experience in a nearfield antenna range
      • RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
