Now in its third generation of family ownership, Fromm remains dedicated to employing the industry’s most exceptional workforce.\ We are looking for a Services Technician to deliver on-site evaluations of our customers’ existing equipment, stock, and safety requirements. The core focus of this role is to assess the installed base at customer facilities and develop tailored solutions that optimize performance and align with their business goals. This position also involves performing VFD startups and other industrial services that support the needs of Fromm’s customer network. Responsibilities Conduct on-site evaluations of existing equipment and systems using data collection tools in industrial manufacturing settings. Assess and document customer lockout/tagout policies, procedures, and compliance practices. Manage and monitor customer storeroom inventory during service visits to ensure asset accuracy and availability. Apply deep knowledge of Rockwell Automation products and relevant manufacturing technologies during service execution. Represent Fromm Electric Supply professionally while servicing critical customer machinery and applications. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders at customer facilities. Requirements: 2-year technical degree – or- equivalent combination of skills, experience or education Able to analyze market conditions, develop an annual business plan involving existing products and new product launches, and coordinate its implementation. Ability to define and grow new markets for emerging product technologies. Able to motivate and support outside sales reps to proactively implement business plan. Strong presentation skills in group and individual situations. Able to develop and articulate a strong value message for assigned products in competitive situations, in conjunction with applicable RA resources. Strong arbitration skills to effectively listen, communicate, and gain consensus. Able to identify and demonstrate technology solutions for customer applications. Knowledge of vendor guidelines, compliance, and code of ethics, including Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Eaton.
