Job Description Job Description Job Title: Skilled Trades Workers Key Responsibilities Perform skilled trade functions including welding, assembly, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment or components Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and technical drawings Set up, operate, and maintain hand tools, power tools, and shop or production equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems as applicable to the role Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure equipment reliability Maintain accurate production, maintenance, or quality documentation Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications Follow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations Work collaboratively with production teams, engineering, and supervisory staff Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or safety initiatives Essential Skills Strong mechanical and technical aptitude Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and work instructions Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments Welding or fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, Stick, or related processes) as applicable Assembly and production experience with attention to quality and detail Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems Knowledge of safety standards and proper PPE usage Strong problem?solving and time?management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Effective communication and teamwork skills Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, welding, or skilled trades preferred Welding certifications, electrical licenses, or maintenance certifications a plus (based on role) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, crouching, and climbing Willingness to work overtime, shift schedules, or weekends as required Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lebanon, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
