YOU’LL DO: You’ll actively engage, participate, and take the lead
on outage coordination in all Project Team meetings where outages
are required. You’ll provide input to the Project Team with
consultation on LOTO requirements and clearance sequencing to
ensure adequate boundaries are identified. You’ll evaluate the
proposed scope of work provided by the Project Manager (PM) or
Engineering to identify outage needs, determine outage
requirements, durations, and sequences, and ensure proper
implementation. You’ll identify and pursue scope clarification that
may affect outage requests based on knowledge of T&S system
operations. You’ll request and obtain T&S outages from the
applicable Designated Authority (DA) and assist DA in prioritizing
project outages. You’ll attempt to bundle Project Management
installation work to minimize outages, reschedule outages as needed
while understanding effects on other outages, and notify affected
parties. You’ll provide and maintain communication with the Project
Manager and Team on the status of outages sought, secured, planned,
and any being rescheduled. You’ll identify the respective Utility
Designated Authority for clearance requests, determine the line of
demarcation if multiple DA(s) are involved, and review clearance
requests in Asset Suite 8 and iTOA before submission. You’ll create
clearance requests in Asset Suite 8 and iTOA as needed, evaluate
and determine the best approach for blocking resources, sequence
clearances efficiently, and submit clearance/outage requests per
the timeline and requirements. You’ll secure NERC-CIP clearance,
attend T&S weekly work management countdown meetings, and
participate in TSO monthly and quarterly Long-Range Outage Planning
review conference calls. Flexible: The work location for this role
will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an
Accenture office or center. With all our roles, there is some
in-person time for collaboration, learning and building
relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an

experience in the planning, design, operation or maintenance of
high voltage electrical equipment A valid driver’s license BONUS
POINTS IF YOU HAVE: Prior experience with Transmission and
Substation planning, in particular outage scheduling is a plus
Experienced in LOTO (lock out tag out) process Ability to read and
interpret and monitor the accuracy of single line diagrams and
engineering drawings Working knowledge of the transmission,
substation and distribution system, LOTO procedure and timeline
requirements for outages and follow the guidelines for schedule of
outage related work Ability to become proficient with Asset Suite 8
and iTOA Proficient with Microsoft Office Compensation at Accenture
