Essential Functions Perform work on vehicles including removing parts, sanding, priming, taping, buffing, welding, and installation. Responsible for doing sheet metal work. Competencies Effective communicator in listening, writing, and verbal. Must be detail oriented. Ability to solve problems. Ability to work as a team. Ability to organize and prioritize competing responsibilities. Punctual and dependable person. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports. Work Environment Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions. Physical Demands Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position may require overtime. Travel This position does not have any travel requirements. Required Education and Experience One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience. Preferred Education and Experience Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
