the place for you. The Work The Engineering Technician provides
hands?on technical support to design and development engineers,
enabling the efficient creation and validation of RMS systems.
Responsibilities include: • Assists design and development
engineers by performing duties requiring practical and technical
knowledge to facilitate design or development work, perform work
under a minimum of supervision. • Receives oral instructions, rough
sketches or written memos; determines needs and obtains necessary
equipment, tools and materials; assemblies and wires complex
equipment following most economical and practical methods of
manufacturing and design; fabricates complex parts, components and
sub-assemblies using hand and machine tools; constructs
experimental laboratory test set-ups as required; conducts physical
and electrical tests based on specific performance requirements
determined by discussion with or instructions from supervisor or
engineer. • Compares and summarizes data obtained with established
standards and indicates deviations; submits data and reports on
practical aspects of tests to supervisor or engineer. • Modifies
test and other laboratory equipment as required. • Evaluates and
makes recommendations or suggestions for improvements to equipment,
components or procedures as necessary. • Fabricates and assemblies
developmental printed circuit boards, breadboards, and similar
devices as required. • Contacts manufacturing personnel, customers,
vendors and others as directed in connection with assignments. May
direct other personnel in performance of duties related to

Qualifications • Familiarity with component, module, and system
level test techniques • Experience in building, testing and
troubleshooting breadboards, and prototype hardware • Working
knowledge of desk-top computers • Experience working with optical
aids, hand and power tools, light shop equipment such as drill
presses, shears, &grinders, and mechanical assembly methods •
Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the
SECRET level Desired skills • Minimum of 1 year experience in
testing and troubleshooting of Analog, RF, Digital, Microwave, and
High Power circuits • Familiarity with component, module, and
system level test techniques including RFIC experience •
Familiarity with modern computer based test systems and test
equipment such as Logic State Analyzers, Network/Spectrum
Analyzers, Digital Storage Oscilloscopes and Programmable Signal
Sources • Working knowledge of Agilent’s line of PNA-X Network

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. National Pay Statement The base range for this
position in New Jersey is $61,526 - $132,577. Benefits offered:

Holidays. The wage range and benefits summary is a general
