Job Description:
Packaging Engineer JOB PROFILE: Company growth has created the need for a self-driven Packaging Engineer to work at the customer's site. You will work with the customer to conduct projects involving primary and secondary packaging design support as well as developing packaging cost savings and enhancements. This high-growth company is committed to promotion from within - real career opportunity potential. You will develop expendable and primarily returnable packaging concepts involving corrugated, plastic corrugated, totes, steel racks, and various dunnage materials. Additionally, you will perform validation testing of new and enhanced packaging projects. Requirements REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree - Engineering Experience designing and validating returnable packaging programs Experience with returnable packaging (steel racks and plastic totes) and protective packaging concepts Automotive or component manufacturing packaging design experience CAD proficiency
