Peraton is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Greenbelt, Maryland to support our Space Exploration Network Services and Evolution contract at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project management activities associated with supporting new human spaceflight programs and initiatives. This position also involves being a part of a dynamic team executing concurrent planning and execution to meet high-priority national timelines for missions. What you'll do. - Responsible for managing the cost, schedule, and performance for complex projects across multiple locations with multiple stakeholders - Lead cross-functional team throughout lifecycle driving to the delivery of end-capability for the customer for a high-priority national program - Promote effective communication across the cross-function team to include government and contractor team members - Actively manage risk and issues associated with projects and programs You'd be a great fit if. - Have a minimum of 22 years related experience, included 17 years of management experience with supervisory/management responsibilities (a Master's degree may substitute for 3 years of experience) - Prior experience leading large-scale ground station development - Demonstrated experience establishing a baseline for major projects from scratch which also moving with speed of execution - Bachelors Degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics or a related field It'd be even better if you. - Prior experience working with NASA programs and projects - Prior experience working with Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Community organizations - Have the ability to work under challenging timelines with ambiguity What you'll get. - An immediately-vested 401(K) with employer matching - Rapid PTO accrual schedule with floating holidays - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage - Tuition assistance, financing, and refinancing - Paid maternity and paternity leave - Company-paid infertility treatments - Cross-training and professional development opportunities - The ability to influence major initiatives SECURITY CLEARANCE This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
