Welcome page Welcome page Chief Development Officer Job Location US-NC-Salisbury Job Opening ID 2020-89628 Facility Rowan Medical Center Department Foundation Work Schedule 8:00am-5:00pm Category Administration Job Status Full-Time Job Opening Post Information* : Posted Date 1 week ago (12/31/2020 10:37 AM) Overview The Chief Development Officer, Novant Health Rowan Medical Center (NHRMC) is responsible for developing, organizing and managing all fundraising strategies and activities within the Novant Health Foundation market of responsibility.-- This plan includes, but is not limited to, annual giving activities, major gifts, cultivation activities, special events, planned giving, stewardship/donor recognition activities, prospect research, proposal writing directed toward the capital and programmatic needs for the market. This position requires the ability to identify, cultivate and solicit major donors for gifts of $25,000 and over. This position will also drive strategic alignment between the-- market's Novant Health Foundation priorities and community needs. This position may require supervisory responsibilities for support staff that will assist in development activities. At Novant Health, one of our core values is diversity and inclusion. Experience:-- Minimum 7 years of fundraising experience including Capital Campaign and Major Gift Solicitation or required related experience, healthcare preferred.-- Experience in management with foundation and board of directors required. Licensure/Certification/Registration:-- Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) preferred

--- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
--- Ability to influence and engage a wide range of donors.
--- Ability to solicit gifts; planned giving expertise highly desirable.
--- Experience using Raiser's Edge or similar development database programs.
--- High level of organizational and management skills and demonstrated ability to motivate staff to achieve departmental goals.
--- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
