Since launching in late 2017, Cerebro has identified key problems in the private debt markets and has released four major product lines to solve them. In March 2020, Cerebro successfully closed its second round of financing through prominent VCs on the west coast and east coast.We are ready to launch into the next phase of our growth strategy and we need capable executives with a can-do attitude. If you enjoy business development, networking, relationship building, and contributing to a small but mighty team, join us today at Cerebro.The winning candidate will be a self-starter who understands middle market lending and the challenges relationship managers face collecting borrower information, writing credit memos, securing credit approval, and completing closing diligence for loans between $2 million to $100 million. This candidate will need to work effectively and cross-functionally to take the lead on identifying, evaluating, and implementing initiatives with the goal of growing and enhancing Cerebro's Lender Network. As a key team member, you will have the opportunity to directly lead business initiatives, provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership, and interface with all corporate departments.Cerebro's headquarter office is in Baltimore, MD and we have plans to open an office in Washington, DC. But a remote position will be considered for the right candidate.Responsibilities include:* Lender Network Growth - Meet monthly activity targets for new lenders added onto the platform. Apply knowledge of Cerebro products and services to meet lender needs. Identify prospecting approaches to find new potential lenders looking to make loans of $2 million to $100 million.* Client Relationship Management - Maintain regular contact with lenders, developing an understanding of their needs. Determine and satisfy lender needs including influencing, communicating, presenting, facilitating, managing, and developing lender relationships. * Customer Experience Management - Implement strategies and techniques used to ensure that lenders have a positive experience with Cerebro and its products and services at every touch point.* Prospecting - Knowledge of prospecting principles, processes and skills; ability to identify and engage potential lenders in the market. Build an effective network of internal and external relationships, such as community and industry relationships, to actively acquire new lenders and/or expand existing lender relationships and enhance the lender experience. Plan, strategize and target the right industries. Create value propositions with impact.* Product Management - Liaises with Cerebro's tech team to identify new features and capabilities that need to be developed to better meet the needs of our lender users.* Reporting - Utilize CRM and other tracking tools to develop consistent reporting on activities and progress towards goals.Qualifications:* 5+ years of commercial lending experience * Bachelor's degree required & MBA preferred* Diverse underwriting, credit structuring, and bank product knowledge for middle market companies with loans of $2 million to $100 million or greater.* Strong financial analysis skills* Strong interpersonal communication skill set and ability to positively affect a healthy, collaborative team environment.* Demonstrate high level of expertise in sales, networking, negotiation, business acumen, relationship building and execution of responsibilities.* Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. * Be a critical thinker, capable of developing strategy and making recommendations to management for advancement of company objectives.What you can expect from us:* Competitive compensation & performance bonuses* Equity compensation in growth startup* Health, vision & dental plans* Diverse, collaborative, and entrepreneurial culture* Opportunity to join a growing team at an early stagePowered by JazzHRMzk7tJNJC0
