Position SummaryThe Vice President of Program Management ensures that Rekor's customers receive the highest level of care. The primary responsibility for this position is to lead the Call Center, Program Support, and Program Management teams.The ideal candidate for this position is an organized leader, with significant call center and program management experience, preferably within a contactless compliance or photo enforcement environment. The position requires high level interaction with external "turnkey" customers where Rekor provides business process outsourcing for ongoing successful program operations. Strong leadership and communications capabilities, with daily oversight and interaction with various teams is also a crucial requirement.The candidate should be well-versed in call center concepts and principles, general program support principles, and dedicated program management. Additionally, the candidate will lead or participate within key cross-departmental project teams involved in advancing Rekor product offerings, and related strategic efforts.Role and Responsibilities* Lead large and growing teams of highly dedicated professionals, focused on call center operations, program support, and program management* Strategically identify, select, and manage resources and partners required for full turnkey program management* Work with executive team members to establish new programs, as a result of the RFP/proposal processes or organically through the sales pipeline* Develop key performance indicators, both for customer success and for internal operations, to ensure maximum effectiveness of programs and internal resources* Lead or participate within cross-departmental project teams responsible for continued expansion of Rekor's contactless compliance product suite, and other strategic projects as they arise* Provide detailed oversight relative to resource requirements, scheduling, and daily operations for multiple teamsQualifications and Education Requirements* Bachelor's degree required in Business Management, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related subject. Master's degree or higher preferred.* 5+ years of demonstrated experience in leading call center operations or large-scale programs, primarily with government or municipal customers* Significant and demonstrated experience in building and leading teams in a growth environment, with daily structure/scheduling and customer service level agreement commitments* Experience with contactless compliance, photo enforcement, or operations within a technology environment preferred* Experience managing and building relationships with customers, vendors, and sub-contractors* Experience developing and monitoring key performance indicators* Experience reporting to C-level executives and developing comprehensive strategies for team oversight and growth preferred* Familiarity with budgeting and resource allocationPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* Knowledge or familiarity with roadway intelligence, smart cities, incident management, or vehicle recognition is a plus, but not required* Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with other employees from different departments of the organization* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment* Dynamic personality, able to interact with high level officials and lead operational and administrative teams* Excellent oral, written, and communication/presentation skills* Ability to adapt and deal with complex situations and manage expectations through ongoing changes* Strong computer skills in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
