Job DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARY:The primary responsibility of the Floor Manager is to assist the General Manager, Assistant General Manager and Restaurant Manager in overseeing the operations of the restaurant.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary focus of daily guest and staff relations along with closing the restaurantESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Demonstrates and role-models the companys Core Values and Leadership PrinciplesHandles guest concerns, complaints, and needs according to Company guidelinesAddresses guest and staff issues in the moment and sees to their proper resolution or involves appropriate supervisorsMaintains a presence in the dining room and serviceManages employee performance through coaching, recognition, and corrective actionPerforms all closing responsibilitiesEnsures accurate cash counting, checkouts, side work completion, setting of the dining room for next service, tip matrix input, safe reconciliation, and nightly dropChecks out hourly staff members; reviews tip out and side workEnsures cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurantAssists in maintaining par levels of linensAssists in organizing and moving beverage product in the absence of or in coordination with the Beverage ManagerTakes responsibility for the management of front of house employees in the absence of or in conjunction with the General Manager and Assistant General ManagerAttends and contributes to weekly manager meetingsMakes recommendations to the Company on ways to improve as neededEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Should be able to properly execute and demonstrate all duties of servers, bussers, food runners, bartenders and hosts in order to teach proper protocol.Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and /or 1 year of tenure /experience with Papi Cuisine or similar concept while excelling in an hourly role;Knowledge of Latin/Caribbean Food is beneficial. Knowledge of cocktail making and spirits is beneficial.Company IntroductionPapi Cuisine is a Afro-Latin Fusion restaurant, that has tremendously grown over the last decade. Owner Alex Perez, started Papi Cuisine, as food delivery service that then evolved into a private dining and catering company. We are now proudly one of the most sought after restaurants in Maryland.
