World Relief's US Programs serves to resettle refugees and provide services to immigrant populations throughout the US.The Grants Manager position, which sits within the Home Office, partners with US field offices to help bring financial and operational management support where local resources or staff are under-equipped and helps Home Office in streamlining functions and communication.Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 DOEESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - FINANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the onboarding and off boarding of Grants
  • Manages all grant reporting functions
  • Act as liaison between field, US Leadership and Corporate Finance in creating organizational alignment and addressing challenges with implementing within local context
  • Create and facilitate finance training for finance staff and office directors
  • Integrate financial processes and communications among the different organizational departments
  • Ensure relevant WR teams are proficient in the use of organizational financial tools/resources
  • Support training of existing staff as needed GRANTS MANAGEMENT
    • Provide grant budget feedback and review for new grant applications
    • Provide grant financial monitoring and review reporting, particularly for private funding
    • Work with Grants & Foundation Team to develop best practices in grant processes, communications, and reporting requirements
    • Will work on building processes with others in the Division to organize proposal processes, and revenue forecasting
    • Review and Submit SF 425
    • Take lead for Annual Code Creation process
    • FFATA Subaward reporting
    • Annual SAM registration
    • Create Exceptions Report
    • Audit lead for communication re: grants, SEFA
    • Review and approve month end close ICR and Revenue Entries
    • Admin for all grant related websites and databases In Coordination with the HO Director of Finance
      • Review and assist in development of financial policies and procedures
      • Work with ERP Team and Corporate Finance in report creation, dissemination to ensure field offices and other Managers understand and utilize reports for decision making
      • Identify markers of, and monitor, financial health of the field offices, ensuring effective expense control and compliance
      • Improve upon existing forecasting and budgeting process so that the needs of both Home Office and field offices are met
      • Provide support and assistance to US field offices for the budgeting process, resulting from the point above in accordance with the annual budgeting calendarKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
        • Effective communicator and influencer with ability to clearly convey complex financial issues in a clear format for non-finance professions, motivating continuous and collaborative improvement
        • Ability to act independently, manage potentially diverse stakeholder needs and priorities, and follow-through with results
        • Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with remote, cross-cultural teams
        • Knowledge of the U.S. non-profit and INGO business sector, including compliance requirements of the U.S. and state and local governments
        • Strong coaching abilities to other leaders
        • Ability to navigate financial and non-financial data gathering and analytics; technically adept with ability to quickly learn and maximize usage of technology and software; effective user of Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate skill in MS ExcelREQUIREMENTS:

          • 3-5 years of grants management experience
          • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar discipline
