Summary Support WMRE with front-end development, planning and
feasibility studies related to prospective biogas processing or
renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities. The successful candidate
will coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to review,
analyze, and summarize key project parameters, constraints, and
risks including permitting requirements, interconnect requirements,
site layout, feedstock specifications, product quality
specifications, and technology suitability.II. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job
successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential
duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to generate
feasibility reports for prospective biogas processing
facilities
- Interface with site personnel and air permitting specialists to
determine air permitting processes and timelines
- Interface with site personnel and engineering to review fresh
water and waste water interconnection and discharge
requirements
- Coordinate with site personnel and engineering to determine
local development approval process and drawing submission
requirements
- Coordinate with site personnel, engineering, and project
management to determine preferred facility location and develop
preliminary site plan for processing facility
- Gather and review existing surveys, parcel maps, easements,
property crossings, and land encumbrances
- Gather and review soil borings and geotechnical studies and
summarize key findings
- Review historic waste disposal, gas production, and gas quality
and work with gas management team to generate gas production
forecast
- Interface with local electric utility to review system capacity
and determine cost of electric interconnect and on-going
service
- Interface with gas pipeline owners to evaluate gas takeaway
capacity and develop plan and estimate for gas pipeline
interconnection
- Review and summarize product gas quality requirements
- Support technology selection process with engineering, project
management, and operations teams
- Assess project risks and keep a risk register
- Coordinate with project management team to generate cost
estimates and project schedules
- Develop project financial summaries and pro formas
- Build project summary presentations
- Maintain detailed meeting and call notesOther
- Completion of special assignments/tasks as required by WMRE

representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the
job.A. Education and ExperienceEducation: Bachelors Degree
(accredited), or in lieu of, HS Diploma or GED (accredited) and 5
years relevant experience required. Masters degree
preferred.Experience: Five years previous relevant experience (in
addition to education requirement). Relevant experience may include
experience with biogas processing, landfill operations, anaerobic
digester operations, commercial construction, and/or project
engineering.B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other
