Job Description:

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible and accountable for Pharmacy clinical operations and the safe distribution of medication and must work collaboratively with the Center Medical Director, Nurse Manager, and Office Manager to provide safe, high-quality, effective, and efficient medical/pharmaceutical care. The pharmacy manager acts as a pharmaceutical resource to all clinical staff. The pharmacy manager will promote safety and oversee the role of staff pharmacists responsible for drug control, labeling, and providing quality information on prescription and OTC medications. The Pharmacy Manager receives general supervision from the Director of Pharmacy.
Essential functions:

• Oversee prescription preparation.
• Prepare and review timesheets submission and mileage reports to HR/finance for payroll processing.
• Supervise entire inventory management related to pharmacy.
• Interact and maintain positive customer relations
• Verify the record's accuracy either daily or weekly concerning prescription volume.
• Comply with entire laws governing pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
• Ensure all prescription drugs plus controlled substances are secure and safe in the pharmacy.
• Maintain 340B Compliance
• Manage pharmacy services by a clinic, governmental, and other regulatory standardsBachelor's degree in PharmacyRequired Experience:
  5 years of experience in pharmacy managementPreferred Education:
  Doctor of Pharmacy/PharmDRequired Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
  Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  Must have an active pharmacy license in the state of practice with a license in good standing
  MD Board of Pharmacy LicensurePreferred Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
  MTM certification
  Certified Immunizer Certification
