Lourie Center - GreenbeltThe Lourie Center School is seeking an
experienced Child Care Director who will embrace our mission to
extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and
spiritual healing.As the Child Care Director, you will:---Engage in
a system of relational, reciprocal, regular data feedback and data
utilization for individualized professional development for
teaching staff and continuous program improvement.---Participate in
Communities of Practices and lead monthly reflective supervision to
support teaching staff's professional growth.---Support and ensure
that a continuity of care model to help children develop secure
relationships is implemented.---Implement, document, and
demonstrate an understanding of the importance of multiple
perspectives and possess the skills to be successful when working
among interdisciplinary efforts.---Participate in Service Area
Coordination as scheduled.---Train and coach teachers in the Tools
of the Mind Curriculum with the focus on integration of Teaching
Strategies GOLD which is aligned with the Head Start Early Learning
Outcomes Framework and Maryland Early Learning Standards.---Support
teachers in the development of Individual Care and Individual Plans
for each child using all relevant child and classroom level data in
collaboration with the child's family. ---Monitor the plans, ensure
documentation is uploaded into ChildPlus data management system and
update as necessary.---Coordinate referrals in collaboration with
the teacher and family for children with suspected special needs or
behavioral concerns with guidance from the Disabilities
CoordinatorQualified candidates will possess:--- Bachelors degree
in education; masters degree preferred--- 3-5 years of experience
as a manage/director--- Experience working in the educational field
--- Active BLS CPR card through American Heart AssociationWork
