General Manager - Business Development and Flexi Parts, this role
will be a full-time role based out of our Perth Precinct
location.As the Business Unit Manager for our Electrical &
Electrification division, you will be at the forefront of
revolutionising our product offerings by spearheading battery
electric equipment as the Dealer for Caterpillar and driving the
seamless integration of battery electric products, charging
systems, and Power Generation services. You will act as the liaison
between executive stakeholders and miners, developing new growth
areas in Power Generation to ensure our initiatives align with
customer needs and industry trends.If you're ready to lead,

days off (Mon - Fri) 8.5 hours/ day (including meal break)Location:
Perth Precinct, WAWhat you'll do:
- Drive the success of the Battery Electric Equipment
programs
- Grow the WesTrac Electrical Power Generation Division to new
heights
- Establish and oversee dealer and Caterpillar readiness,
including parts availability, tooling, and labour competency
- Strategically identify and set up a state-of-the-art repair
centre to elevate WesTrac's capabilities and revenue generation
from Parts & Service Sales
- Cultivate a culture of growth by managing and expanding the
Profit & Loss of the Business Unit, including necessary CAPEX and
OPEX for servicing and maintenance of battery electric equipment
and Power Generation
- Lead high-level meetings with Caterpillar, other dealers, and
internal stakeholders to uphold accountabilities and drive projects
effectively
- Collaborate with Metro & Regional Operations to develop field
service capacity for electrified products, ensuring comprehensive
customer support
- Nurture a skilled and forward-looking workforce that aligns
with the demands of future electrified products, positioning
WesTrac as an industry leader in skill and innovation
- Build teams of electrical and electrification technicians to
service multiple mine sites and customers both locally and
regionallySkills and Experience:
- Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience
- Willingness to take on the electrical nominee licence for
WesTrac Western Australia
- Ability to apply commercial and business acumen broadly at an
executive level
- Prior experience in Business Transformation projects
- Strong experience in Mining, Technology, Electrical, or Power
Generation industries
- High level of technical competency
- Excellent stakeholder and change management skills
- Ability to analyse general business plans at a board level
- Proven ability to develop and execute a 5-year strategic plan
for a new business
