This role can be located anywhere in Southern California. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support the East Coast Area and it's Regional Sales Team Set quarterly/ annual Sales Incentive plan goals & objectives including design-In Goals with each team member Co-ordinate product training for FAE's and manufacture's reps Work with Sales Operations team to define KPI initiatives Review and modify work load balance Perform bi-annual personal development reviews Work with Business Area BD Leads, Regional Sales Managers and Manufacture Reps to maximize the teams overall efficiency and ROI for demand creation activity. Provide monthly bookings forecast, opportunity management (business funnel), bookings attack list Provide annual forecast data Support initiatives such as market wide or customer site seminars and trainings, technical sales programs and technical marketing programs with each Business Area Manager. Manage small set of customers. MUST be able to travel at least 25% of the time Qualifications and Experience: +5 Years hands-on industry experience Ability to work in a fast pace, collaborative team environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Remain current with latest technologies, trends, and DoD programs Participates in the contract negotiations and contract changes Support value stream LEAN Start-up initiatives Customer-service oriented, articulate and have the ability to properly represent self and company when conducting briefings and presentations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint Experience utilizing a CRM system (SFDC). Desired Qualifications: Experience with Semiconductors and RF products is highly desirable Experience managing technical support team. Ability to be responsive to emails or calls by the VP after hours for critical, time sensitive situations. Energetic, positive attitude, motivated, outgoing, collaborative, dynamic, proactive, hard-working, and driven go-getter Superior organization and time management skills, including ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BSEE/BSME) or Business Management, an advanced degree is a plus (MSEE/MSME/MBA) Core Competencies: Teamwork --- must be a team player and work well with all members of his/her immediate team and cross-company colleagues. Communication --- it is critical that the Field Application Manager be able and willing to both give straight talk and receives straight talk, even when it is uncomfortable. The ultimate outcome of direct communication is a more highly functioning, productive team. Advocacy --- this role requires understanding and advocating for the company's overall goals and expectations of the team and being committed to doing their part in achieving these goals and metrics. Continuous Improvement --- must have a ---growth mind-set' and be open to change including seeking out and implementing new process improvements. Having a positive, meaningful impact on the FAE & BD Team allowing them to spend more time developing existing accounts All applicants must be a U.S Citizen or U.S Person as defined by ITAR (a lawful permanent resident or someone who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3)). In order to be eligible for positions requiring a Security Clearance, you must be a US Citizen.
