Job DescriptionNext Phase Solutions and Services is seeking a
Business Analyst with experience in Interoperability. In this role,
the Interoperability Business Analyst supports the SDLC,
specifically in the analytical areas of the life cycle. The
Interoperability Business/Data Analyst will work with internal
project teams and customer teams to help understand project needs,
gather project requirements, create business use cases and cost
analysis framework, translate business needs to capability
requirements, analyze data on an ongoing basis, and ensure delivery
of customer and project team requirements. Responsibilities
- Interoperability Business Analyst will work with the customer
team, software engineering team, and other team members to
understand and contribute to capability needs and drive business
solutions
- Create and maintain deliverables such as business vision,
requirements and personalization to different clients, and UIUX
design components
- Be involved in the full development life cycle by participating
on Agile scrum teams in various roles, including Scrum Master,
Business Analyst, UI and UX designers, or Automated Manual Tester,
based upon business requirements
- As an Interoperability Business Analyst, this role will support
various aspects of requirements testing (e.g. testing plan,
scenarios, documentation, defect management) to ensure minimal
production defects are realized
- Ensure compliance standards and all approvals are obtained in a
timely manner
- Effectively communicate with team members, customers, partners,
other departments and management, including conducting
walkthroughs, sprint reviews, reporting project status, working to
help create vendor solutions and providing accurate and concise
documentation
- Other duties as assignedRequirements
- Five (5) + years of experience working in Health IT, focusing
on interoperability stack (APIs, HL7, FHIR, EMR, EHR, etc.)
- Knowledge of installing FHIR standards, with working knowledge
of interoperability design approaches and implementation
- Knowledge of FHIR standards and experience in implementations
is required
- Knowledge of Health IT standards, including clinical measures
and various disease coding standardsGeneral:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload based
on the needs of the client
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in
priorities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent technical writing skills and proven experience on
systems with complex requirements
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to
team with others to meet project objectives
- Understanding of the system development lifecycle as
implemented with Agile; SAFe knowledge a plusEducation:
- Bachelor's degree in Business-related field, Information
Systems-related field, or Healthcare-related field, or
equivalentTHIS POSITION REQUIRES RESIDENCY IN MARYLAND OR NORTHERN
VIRGINIA and is PARTIAL REMOTE 2 DAYS A WEEK. THIS POSITION IS NOT
ELIGIBLE FOR A FULL REMOTE SCHEDULE.Only individuals with permanent
