Job DescriptionUNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
Department of Pathology Full-time Faculty PositionThe Department of
Pathology, University of Maryland School of Medicine invites
applicants for a full-time faculty position at the level of
Assistant Professor.Board certification or Board eligibility in
Anatomic Pathology is required.Additional subspecialty training
and/or expertise is desired, especially in gynecologic and breast
pathology and renal pathology.The successful candidate should have
evidence of scholarly achievements, and experience in teaching and
training medical students, graduate students, residents, and
fellows.Experience in obtaining research funding and/or developing
and translating their discoveries into novel clinical applications
is strongly encouraged.The Department has a strong and diverse
faculty, excellent training programs, and a very supportive
environment for an academic anatomic pathologist.Academic
appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience.The
University of Maryland School of Medicine is the first public and
