Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland is hiring for a PRN Registered Nurse to join our compassionate and dedicated nursing leadership team to work as a Nurse Supervisor to manage hospital patient flow and staffing assignments. Schedule: PRN Rotating schedule includes weekend and holidays
What You Will Need:

• Previous Nurse Supervisor or charge nurse experience is required.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

  What You Will Do:Supervise and coordinate a centralized bed management system to facilitate efficient admissions and transfers, optimize occupancy and avoid delays in service.
  • Communicate with clinical staff to determine status of pending discharges, transfers and bed availability and plans bed assignments accordingly.
  • Review all admissions and transfers for clinical/unit appropriateness and medical necessity.
  • Take appropriate action in the event criteria are not met or appropriate resources are not available.
  • Provide direction and support to admissions coordinators to ensure efficient patient access and flow.
  • Analyze bed management data, identifies issues and potential resolutions and prepares reports for executive reviewWhat You Will Need:Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
    Education:
    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.Work Experience:
