This is an 18-month post-graduate training program for Physician
Assistant (PA) delivering hands-on high intensity experience which
will include time spent on and off-service rotations. The program
prepares qualified PAs with the evidenced-based knowledge,
technical skills, and critical thinking abilities required to
provide multi-disciplinary and compassionate emergency medicine
care. The Resident will be responsible for diagnosing health care
problems of patients and developing and implementing treatment
plans under the direction of a physician preceptor. Will receive
training in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) during Residency.

Shifts: Full Time (40 hours); Combination 8, 10, & 12-hour
variable/rotating shifts; weekends
