Job Description:

The OR RN is responsible for assisting surgeons in the OR. Operating Room Nurses will prep the OR and the patient for surgery and make certain that all equipment is clean and working correctly.ResponsibilitiesOR Registered Nurse duties consist of: Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the operation. Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and provide instruments and supplies to them during operations. Gathering and logging the items needed for lab examinations. RequirementsOne year of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse within the past two years. Active Nursing License in good standing. Up to date BLS from American Heart Association. Negative Drug Screen.
