Registered Nurse - Operating Room - $10,000 Sign-On BOnusSummary

A Clinical Nurse II (CN II) demonstrates competent patient and family- centered care using the nursing process. The CN II will work with the interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based patient care, positive patient care experiences and quality outcomes in the professional nursing practice environment.

Offering $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs*

Sign-on bonus reserved full or part-time RNs with +2 years of specialty experience. Bonuses reviewed/approved by division director*

Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

* BSN Preferred
* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam
* Must obtain 20 Contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused. Academic course credits may be used on a 1:1 credit hour exchange.
* Must possess 1 year of current clinical experience

Certification Requirements: Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS upon hire

Specialty Certifications: McAuley Surgery Center - ACLS within 1 year of hire or 6 months of promotion

License Requirements: RN License

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
* Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
* Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
* Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Access, Excel Microsoft Outlook, & Epic Performance Manager/NetLearning.
* Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
* Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
