Job Description:
An exciting hematology-oncologist opportunity is now available
to join a leading medical institution in Maryland. This is a
compassionate and patient-oriented practice. The incoming physician
will be part of a team of board certified physicians who diagnose
and treat approximately 1,800 cancer cases per year. Your schedule
will be Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with a 1:6 call
schedule (hospital admissions, easy call work balance). You will
provide primarily outpatient care, but it also includes being
proficient with inpatient consultative services. Inpatient care is
provided by the hospitalist or intensivist services. They welcome
candidates that are board certified or board eligible in
hematology-oncology. This position comes with a base salary with
billing-based incentives. You will be offered a sign-on bonus,
malpractice with tail coverage, medical/dental/vision benefits,
life and disability insurance, 4 weeks of vacation, 2 weeks of CME
plus stipend, a 401(k) retirement plan, and relocation assistance.
