We're currently seeking qualified candidates for a 13-week renewable contract position in our Pediatric ER Unit. Join our team and make a difference in the lives of children and their families!Responsibilities:Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for pediatric patients in the emergency settingCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, evidence-based careAdminister medications, treatments, and interventions as orderedMonitor and document patient progress, updating care plans as neededEducate patients and families on treatment plans, disease processes, and discharge instructionsAdhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesQualifications:Current and valid RN licenseMinimum 2 years of experience in Pediatric ER nursingBLS and PALS certificationsExcellent communication and critical thinking skillsCompassionate and patient-centered care approachAvailability for rotating schedules, weekends, and holidaysCOVID-19 and flu vaccines required (exemptions for medical/religious reasons only)No local candidates within 50 miles of facilityTexas Nursing Services Job ID #2074556.
