Job Description:
Permanent or Locums to Perm Hospitalist Position in
Maryland---Schedule is flexible - work 16 shifts per month (11 hr
shifts) including 2 out of 4 weekends---No call from home. They
have 24/7 coverage with nocturnists covering most nights of the
months but expect to cover 1 overnight shift and swing admitting
shifts---6 MD's on Day shift ---2 MD's on Night shift ---Admitting
Shifts are 7a - 6p, 11a - 10p, 2p - 1a and 8p - 7a---Average 6
Admissions during Swing Shift---Average 12 patients encounters
during rounding shift ---Closed ICU---Overnight cross coverage by
mid-level---Full Sub Specialty backup---No Procedures ---Team lead
for rapid response but not codes---BC/BE; prefer IM training---EMR
- Epic---Salary: $185 - 190 K base with 15 K quality
bonus---Benefits: 3K CME and 1.5K memberships/dues,
health/dental/vision and retirement benefits, 160 hrs vacation and
40 hrs CME annually
