New Graduates Accepted. *Apply now for immediate consideration!**Position*: Registered Nurse, Thoughts Disorder*Shift*: FT, 8 hour shift, Evenings (3pm - 11pm) or Nights (11pm - 7am), rotating weekends and holidays.*Incentives*:* $6,000 sign on bonus for RN's!* Tuition reimbursement and tuition discounts to select universities!* New Graduates Accepted!*Pay*: Based on experience starting at $32/hr, higher with experience plus shift differential ($3/hr for evenings, $4.50/hr for nights, $1.50/hr for weekends.)Other Incentives: Benefits including: Health Insurance, PTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and more!*Must have qualifications:** License: MD RN License* Certification: AHA approved Basic Life Support/CPR certification* Experience: New Grads Accepted!* Education: Associate degree*Responsibilities*:* 22-bed unit that serves adults 18 and older with a wide variety of Bipolar and Schizophrenia .* The inpatient treatment focus is on crisis stabilization and medication management by a psychiatrist, with an average length of stay of between five and 10 days.* Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans.* Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.* Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.* Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff.* Document and report patient progress to treatment team.* Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.* Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff.* The translational research happening at Sheppard Pratt is conducted by a diverse, experienced team of professionals.*About Sheppard Pratt*Sheppard Pratt has been improving quality of life for communities across Maryland for nearly two centuries since they first opened their doors in the 1800s.
