CHARGE NURSE II-ACUTE CARE, BHU -Sign On Bonus ***** 20,000.LEVINDALE HOSPITAL-BRAIN HEALTH UNIT-Full-time w/Weekend Commitment - Day shift - 7:00*****-Staff Nurse-The Levindale Brain Health Unit is currently looking for a charge nurse with a passion for patient care and process improvement. -
The Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital is composed of two 40-bed units. Staff members in the Brain Heath Unit -are good communicators and can set boundaries, hold confidence, and establish and maintain trust. Patients in the Brain Health Unit -are admitted with medical and psychological diagnoses. The length of their stay is between 20-25 days, which provides an opportunity for clinical staff to analyze a patient's behavior and cultivate a relationship that may help a patient see him- or herself in a better way. During their stay, patients will receive help with medication management and rehabilitation services if needed. Staff members will also assist in engaging patients in group activities and one-on-one exercises.

Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and functions as advisor, resource and leader for other members of the patient care team. -
Minimum of 1 year in charge/lead/ nurse role can be full time or acting charge/lead nurse.
-Knowledge of a specialized field. Nursing Certification of specialty area within 3-5 years of hire.
