Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 15:15; 10:15 - 19:15) Experience: 2 years in OR Tech required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS and CST Must-Have: Inpatient experience, community hospital experience, obstetric experience, robotic (DaVinci) experience, laparoscopic experience Description: We are seeking a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room. The role requires the ability to work both day and evening shifts. Candidates must have experience with case cart management, scrubbing, scope/probe reprocessing, equipment documentation, and aseptic technique. Understanding of patient positioning and room turnover is essential. Experience in bariatric, plastics, and podiatry procedures is preferred. High-level disinfection (HLD) experience is a plus. Cerner experience is also preferred. The facility is a short-term acute care setting with a total of 104 staffed beds. Candidates must be able to meet on-call requirements. A comprehensive understanding of surgical protocols and patient care standards is necessary for this position. We value teamwork and effective communication skills.
