Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have DC RN Licensure
in hand at the time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias -
Multi-system organ failure - IV insulin protocols - GI surgery -
Chronic/Acute Renal failure and IV therapy - CVA/Acute Stroke
management - External ventricular drains (EVD) - Hypothermia
protocol/Arctic Sun - ICP monitoring - Post-neurosurgery management
- Spinal cord injury - Traumatic brain injury -
Respiratory/Thoracic care - Infection prevention - Isolation
precautions/Use of PPE - Phlebotomy - Surgical wounds with
drains/Wound Vac - Charge experience preferred Description: The
position is for a registered nurse in the ICU. Shifts are
4x12-hour, night, or day. No on-call or weekend requirement
associated with the position. Floating may be required within units
of equivalent or lower levels of acuity. The facility requires all
employees to have the flu vaccine. Two supervisor references are
required. RTO requests during a contract will not be approved for
more than 8 days, and these must be scheduled to allow for full
weekly hours. Travelers can take only 3 days off within a contract.
Three or more absences in a 13-week contract will result in
immediate termination of the contract. Submitters must reach out
for local rates if applicable. Nurses who held previous employment
with the organization must be gone for a minimum of one year to
return. The hiring manager may or may not conduct interviews.
