Pay Information $2,575 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active RN license in the required state Certifications: Basic Life Support certification Must-Have: - Must provide proof of pending license status at time of submission - Must have active license in hand prior to start date Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg and Telemetry. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. The RN will be expected to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. The nurse will manage a typical patient ratio of 1:5. Skills required include telemetry monitoring, cardiac telemetry, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Experience with feeding tube care and management is necessary. The role also involves IV therapy, including PICC line and peripheral line management. Weekend shifts are mandatory every other weekend. Charge nurse experience is preferred. This is a short-term acute care position in a teaching hospital setting. The organization emphasizes teamwork and collaboration within the nursing staff. Work hours will consist of four 12-hour shifts per week. Proper documentation is expected to be maintained using the designated electronic health record system.
